Code 9 CPR is proud to offer the American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training and Pediatric First Aid/CPR course. Taught by a retired police officer, coach, and mother, this course helps young people build the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to safely and responsibly care for children and infants.

Participants will learn leadership skills, basic childcare, emergency procedures, safety practices, first aid, rescue breathing, diaper changing, feeding infants and children, and strategies for helping children behave. The course also covers how to develop a babysitting business, including marketing and best practices.

This course is recommended for ages 11–17. Students will practice hands-on skills using manikins and participate in realistic scenarios to prepare for babysitting work. Upon successful completion, participants will receive certifications in Babysitting, Pediatric CPR/AED, and First Aid.

Each participant will take home a keychain CPR face shield, a notebook for note-taking, and a bi-fold with course materials.
